Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2010
On Thursday the 4th of February Highgrove will be hosed a Breakfast as part of the R.A.B.I "Farmhouse Breakfast Week".
The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution founded in 1860 works to help retired and injured farm workers as well as helping farmers in agricultural crises such as the recent Foot and Mouth and Blue Tongue epidemics and more belatedly BSE.
This work includes the maintenance and staffing of two residential care homes specifically for agricultural workers, as well as providing specialist equipment for the disabled.
The Breakfast was served at 8.30am and was cooked using only the best local ingredients.
The event raised around £600 for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
