A Festive Day of fun and entertainment at Highgrove Garden Centre raised just over £800 for the Kent Air Ambulance.
The Highgrove Festive Day included carol singing by Staplehurst School Choir and organ music by Gerry Walters. For the Children, Father Christmas dropped in to hand out presents some of which were kindly donated by Keel Toys based in Ashford, and free face painting was available plus there were plenty of opportunities for the adults to enjoy free mulled wine whilst listening to traditionally dressed Highland pipers.
Local radio station KMFM Maidstone broadcasted their evening show live from the centre. There were many phone in competitions and interviews with all the people that took part.
The evening included performances from "Fingel's Cave", Jade Williams Dance show and The Staplehurst Parish Choir.
