A Festive Day of fun and entertainment at Highgrove Garden Centre raised just over £1000 for the Hospice in the Weald.

The Highgrove Festive Day included carol singing by Staplehurst School Choir and organ music by Gerry Walters. For the Children, Father Christmas dropped in to hand out presents, and free face painting was available plus there were plenty of opportunities for the adults to enjoy free mulled wine while listening to traditionally dressed Highland pipers.

Local radio station CTR Maidstone broadcasted their drive time show live from the centre. There were many phone in competitions and interviews with all the people that took part.

The evening included performances from "Fingel's Cave", and The Staplehurst Parish Choir.
